Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with people outside San Francisco?

Yes. I offer telehealth therapy to anyone in California. Many clients are throughout the Bay Area: SF, Oakland, Palo Alto, Marin, and the South Bay. I am also licensed in Minnesota and New York.

What is co-founder conflict resolution?

It is structured therapy for two or more people in a founding partnership experiencing tension, communication breakdown, or eroding trust. Think of it as targeted relationship work for your most important professional relationship.

Do you take insurance?

I am currently a private pay therapist. Many clients use out-of-network benefits or FSA/HSA funds to offset the cost. I can provide a superbill for reimbursement. See the Fees page for details.

How do I know if therapy is right for me right now?

If you have been asking yourself that question, it probably is. The free 15-minute consultation is designed to help you figure that out without any commitment.

Where is your office?

In-person sessions are held at 220 Montgomery St #600, San Francisco, CA 94104, in the Financial District. Telehealth is available throughout California, Minnesota, and New York.

What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

Coaching focuses on performance and goal-setting. Therapy goes deeper, addressing the patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape how you operate. Many founders benefit from both, but they are different tools.

Should my co-founder and I both join the consultation call?

Yes. It is better if you and your partner join during the consultation call and the first session. Some sessions thereafter might be individual but initially the therapy should start together.

Still have questions?

The free 15-minute call is the easiest way to get answers. No intake forms, no commitment.
